Depressurization led to a fire on a gas pipeline in the Chelyabinsk region

In the Chelyabinsk Region, flare burning of a branch of the main gas pipeline began in the Chebarkul - Katav-Ivanovsk section. Depressurization became the cause of the fire.
Gazprom Transgaz Yekaterinburg said the incident would not affect consumers.
"The gas pipeline section was promptly shut down. Now 20 pieces of equipment and 75 workers are working at the scene of the incident", - the head of the company's press service Denis Volkov told Interfax.
Gas is transported via a reserve branch.
The damaged area will be replaced within 24 hours, the company promised.
Let us remind that the section of the bend of 500 mm in diameter lies at a depth of one meter.
