On Monday, January 31, a fire broke out in the dormitory of the College of Transport and Road Management in Blagoveshchensk. Rescuers evacuated 148 people from the building. One person was hurt.

Firefighters found smoke on the fourth and fifth floors. The source of fire was in one of the rooms on the fourth floor, furniture and personal belongings were burning there.

A student born in 2005 was injured in the fire. However, he managed to get out of the burning room on his own. He was taken to the hospital with burns to his legs.

25 firefighters, rescuers of the search and rescue team and seven pieces of equipment took part in the elimination of the fire.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

It's worth reminding that last week two students rescued a girl from a burning apartment in Chertanovo.
