Three people died and 11 injured in an accident in Altai

The incident happened at 7 am local time (3:00 Moscow time) on the second kilometer of the K-04 Povalikha - Pervomayskoye - Zhuravlikha - Shatunovo road.

"As a result of an accident, the driver of a car and two of his passengers died at the scene before the arrival of the ambulance. It is known that there are injured passengers of the bus", -TASS quotes a message from the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

The department added that eight more people were also injured.

"According to our preliminary data, eight people were injured in the accident - the passengers of the minibus. These are those who were assisted at the scene. Perhaps their number will change", - the Ministry of Internal Affairs pointed out.

According to preliminary data, the 23-year-old Mazda driver lost control and drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a minibus.
