President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, during negotiations with ex-President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, suggested that the latter surrender Karabakh to surrender Karabakh to Azerbaijan for $ 5 billion.

As noted by the portal avia.pro , negotiations between the two politicians were held by phone in an informal setting. After their completion, the recording was "leaked" to the network by Lukashenko's entourage. The incident caused a sharply negative reaction in Armenia

“After their publication in Armenia, the Belarusian president was called a“ bad ”friend who could actually surrender the population of Karabakh for money,” the message says.

As follows from the printout of the talks, Lukashenko said:

"Give him (Aliyev) the areas, he will pay, he offered you $ 5 billion at the first stage".

Sargsyan, judging by his reaction, considered the proposal as insulting.

“I give him 6 billion, let him give up these 7 regions”, - Serzh Sargsyan replied to Alexander Lukashenko.

The Armenian politician added that his people want "to live in peace and tranquility, but our desire alone, unfortunately, is not enough".

Sources of the publication in Armenia confirmed that negotiations between Sargsyan and Lukashenko regarding the fate of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) did indeed take place. At the same time, the press service of the Belarusian president has not yet confirmed the authenticity of the published audio recording of the talks.

The war between Azerbaijan and Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh lasted from September 27 to November 10 and ended in a disastrous result for Armenia: according to the peace agreement, Armenia lost control over a part of the territory of Karabakh, which fell under the jurisdiction of Azerbaijan.
