Decrees on recognition of DPR and LPR published

In the published decrees on the recognition of the DPR and LPR, the Foreign Ministry is instructed to negotiate with the Donetsk and Luhansk sides on the establishment of diplomatic relations.

In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the participation of all interested federal authorities, should prepare an agreement on friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance.

Before the conclusion of the agreement, the Ministry of Defense was instructed to provide the armed forces of the Russian Federation with peacekeeping functions from the day the presidential decree was signed.
