Tatyana Chernigovskaya, a doctor of biological sciences, a scientist in the field of neuroscience and psycholinguistics, believes that the time is coming when we will have to decide how to divide the spheres of influence between natural intelligence and artificial intelligence.

“There is progress in the development of our civilization, but only in technology. In technology, it is obvious. In medicine... And - in everything... It's not even worth listing.

Our high technological skills are, of course, both beneficial and detrimental.

But what I understand for sure is that humanitarian knowledge should not be allowed to fall out of the modern world as a whole. Not only from knowledge systems, but from the world in general.

Because everything is in vain - it will be possible to spend at least trillions in any currency ... But if a person does not understand what he lives for, it’s not for the sake of eating a lot of hamburgers, right? And also not for the sake of buying 54 bags. It's not for that...

And for what?

In general, this modern situation in which we find ourselves, including thanks to - consciously I say "thanks" - covid, this is the time to sit down and think.

It's time for us to think. And who is the owner of the house?

Look, this little thing flew in and laid the whole planet down, and it remains to be seen how much more we will mess with it. And this is serious.

We have to think about who we are. Are we really that powerful? Or are we just dangerous? How will we divide - the situation is already happening, and this is a fact - the spheres of life and spheres of influence between natural intelligence and artificial intelligence?

The benefits of artificial intelligence are clear, no one can cope with big data, except for AI. And so on. Of course, let him do the hard work, that's all clear. But we understand that we can lose control of the situation? And there is such a danger. This is not kitchen talk.

These are just the conversations not of an informed society, but of an enlightened and professional society - there is such a danger.

And this means that we must at least somehow understand what consciousness is; how much unconscious or subconscious processes are involved in decision making; how the mind, rationality, emotions, life path, childhood experience, teenage experience correlate ... After all, this cannot be thrown out anywhere.

I’m even tired of repeating this: the brain is not a sieve - nothing spills out of it. Everything that got into it - everything is there. And it takes its place, and influences. Even if we don't know about it.

Do not think that everything that we do with the help of our brain - we are aware. Not at all. Absolutely not.

Digital reality is giving birth to a new kind of person, are we ready for this?
