Chubais was appointed general director of the state corporation Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies, which in 2008 was transformed into Rusnano.

Sergey Kulikov has served as First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Military-Industrial Commission since June 26, 2018. In his area of responsibility were increasing the efficiency of the execution of the state defense order, the implementation of the approved state armaments program, and overseeing the issues of diversification of production. Previously, at various times, he was a member of the boards of directors of Megafon, Yota Holding Limited, Rostelecom, Voentelecom, VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, RT - Business Development, RT-Inform, United Instrument-Making Corporation","Shvabe" and others.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced the optimization of the state of civil servants from January 1, 2021, which should be completed by April 1.
