Alan Lushnikov, former deputy head of the Ministry of Transport, became the new owner of the Kalashnikov concern. Previously, the controlling stake was owned by Alexei Krivoruchko, who was later appointed Deputy Defense Minister.

This was reported by Kommersant.

It should be reminded that Kalashnikov not only produces small arms, but also develops new technologies. For example, it produces unmanned weapons and high-precision missiles.

Lushnikov notes that Russian weapons are in demand abroad, and countries' spending on national defense does not depend on economic crises.

He added that within the framework of the concern, the direction of civil products will be developed, including the production of electric vehicles.

The amount of the transaction was not specified.

According to the newspaper, Lushnikov bought OOO TKH-Invest, which controls 75% minus 1 share of the concern through Transkomlektholding JSC. The Unified State Register of Legal Entities indicates that half of the shares of TKH-Invest passed into the ownership of Lushnikov, the other half remained with the LLC itself.

Let us remind you that last summer a number of new developments of the Kalashnikov concern were reported. We are talking about an experimental assault rifle chambered for NATO, a smart gun capable of synchronizing with a smartphone. In August it became known about the start of export deliveries of the latest AK-12.
