The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia put Dmitry Glukhovsky, a Russian writer and journalist, author of the novel Metro 2033, on the wanted list.

According to "Interfax" with reference to the data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a criminal case has been initiated against the writer.

“A card with the writer's data appeared in the wanted database of the ministry. Glukhovsky is wanted as part of a criminal investigation”, - the statement said.

However, the article on which Glukhovsky is suspected is not officially named.

At the same time, it became known that an associate of Alexey Navalny ** and ex-Deputy Minister of Energy of Russia Vladimir Milov * was put on the wanted list. The database says that he also became a defendant in a criminal case.

“The basis for the search: wanted under the article of the Criminal Code,” reads the description in the departmental database of the wanted.

According to media reports, both Milov and Glukhovsky are currently outside the Russian Federation. After the start of the military special operation of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, both spoke out publicly condemning the special operation.

Dmitry Glukhovsky is the author of the best-selling post-apocalyptic novels Metro 2033, Metro 2034 and The Post, the dystopian novels Metro 2035 and The Future, the realistic novel Text, and the mystical novel Twilight.

On September 17, 2021, Glukhovsky received the GQ magazine award in the "Author of the Year" category.
