In most regions of Russia, the authorities of which have introduced compulsory vaccination, difficulties arose with the immunization of residents.

As follows from surveys of business representatives, problems with vaccination appeared in two-thirds of 34 Russian regions, where “voluntary-compulsory” vaccination of the population against coronavirus was introduced. Tatiana Ilyushnikova, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, spoke about the results of the polls. On a mandatory basis, the authorities ordered to vaccinate workers in trade, services, transport, taxis, catering, entertainment, sports and recreation, as well as housing and communal services.

According to Ilyushnikova, complaints come from 22 regions.

"Business says that we have problems with vaccination - either a lack of vaccines, or insufficient vaccination points, or slow vaccination", - the deputy minister quotes finanz.ru as saying.

The government stressed that with the introduction of mandatory or "quasi-mandatory" vaccination, it is necessary to create conditions for people to comply with the requirements.

“That is, it is impossible to introduce requirements and say: “We do not know how you will carry out, do as you want, this is not our problem”, - Ilyushnikova said.

Now in Russia 18.514 million people, or 12.7%, are fully vaccinated. Taking into account those who gave only one injection, vaccination coverage is 27.056 million people, or 18.5% of the population. Meanwhile, to create collective immunity, it is necessary to vaccinate at least 60% of the population, and better - 80-90%. But the authorities have faced serious opposition from citizens, many of whom do not trust officials reporting on the safety of vaccines and are in no hurry to get vaccinated. Some are outraged by the "coercion" so much that they go out to protest against the mandatory vaccination.

The introduction of compulsory vaccination in Moscow and a number of other regions has led to the emergence of serious inconveniences for residents. The most serious limitation is the introduction of QR-codes in the capital for visiting public catering. You can get such a code only after vaccination or after a PCR test that is valid for only 3 days.
