Chelyabinsk Governor Alexey Texler announced self-isolation

You see, I participated in a briefing from my office, because I have to observe self-isolation in this regard. I’ll observe the regime from my working area in my office", - Texler explained the situation, underlining that self-isolation would not affect his working mode and "the situation is under control".

Earlier it turned out that Zusia has a suspicion of a coronavirus. He himself informed the agency that he was feeling well and had no symptoms of the disease. A spokesman for the Chelyabinsk governor was hospitalized, and all employees who contacted him, including media representatives, were checked for coronavirus infection. There were more than 20 such people, but all test results did not confirm their infection.

The governor said that the decision to isolate the entire regional government would be inappropriate.

According to the latest data, 32 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the region. It is noted that in all the disease proceeds in a mild form or without symptoms at all. Six patients were discharged.

Until April 19 in the Chelyabinsk region a mandatory self-isolation regime is in effect.

At the moment, according to the Stopkoronavirus.rf resource in Russia, there are 8 672 cases of COVID-19 infection, 63 patients have died.

Earlier it was reported that a member of the Federation Council Lyudmila Narusova was hospitalized in the hospital of the village of Kommunarka in Moscow, where the senator underwent the necessary examinations. The day before the hospitalization, Narusova missed a meeting of the committee on constitutional law and state building, and the day before 15 senators over 70 did not participate in the plenary session of the chamber in connection with the situation on coronavirus. Federation Council speaker Valentina Matvienko asked all senators over 65 to leave for home quarantine.

A few days ago it became known that coronavirus infection was suspected by the entire ambulance leadership in Moscow. The head of the ambulance of Moscow Nikolay Plavunov could become infected with a coronavirus infection and self-isolated in his office. Doctors also suggest infection with his first deputy, Dmitry Gavrilov, and deputy medical officer, George Vvedensky.

Earlier it was reported that COVID-19 was diagnosed with Denis Protsenko, the chief doctor of the hospital in Kommunark, where patients with coronavirus are placed. It was reported that Protsenko in self-isolation, "feeling normal" and continues to manage the hospital and provide remote advice.
