"You can see from the example of Moscow - there was growth, there were measures. And now we see a certain stabilization of the process. Consequently, restrictive measures plus intensive vaccination work, so today there are no mandatory threats and risks that would indicate that we need to introduce a lockdown or some more stringent restrictive measures, there is no such need. And it will not be absolutely certain if we are grafted", - said Anna Popova on the air of the channel "Russia 1".

Recall that over the past day, over 24 thousand new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the country, and the total number of those infected exceeds 5.7 million people.

Popova pointed out that the highest incidence rates are in the Northwestern, Central and Far Eastern federal districts. In other territories, the situation is "a little calmer, but absolutely not stable." About 66% of all strains detected in June and July are the Indian Delta strain. There are cases of infection after vaccination, but they are few, Popova specified - 0.70% of the total number of vaccinated.

Note that most of the Russian regions have failed the vaccination campaign. To date, 18.514 million people, or 12.7%, are fully vaccinated. Taking into account those who gave only one injection, vaccination coverage is 27.056 million people, or 18.5% of the population.

Many citizens are dissatisfied with the introduction of compulsory vaccination, introduced for a number of categories of citizens. In Moscow, for example, the townspeople go out to protest actions. At least 15 people were detained within two weeks. We note that social distance and mask mode are not observed at such events.
