Grozny TV channel awarded Ramzan Kadyrov a cash prize as a "reporter"

As reported on the site of the channel, Kadyrov Prize awarded by the Minister of National Policy, External Relations, Press and Information of Chechnya Ahmad Dudayev.

The money was paid to Kadyrov "for high-quality content, fruitful work and active assistance in covering events in the region".

According to the Dozhd TV channel, Ramzan Kadyrov won the competition among reporters announced by the Grozny State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.

Pointing out the reasons for choosing Kadyrov as the winner, the TV channel explained the incident by the fact that the head of the republic "sends the most exclusive reports from hard-to-reach places, often filmed in extreme conditions".

As examples of the transmission of "high-quality content" were given "exclusive video frames" from Kadyrov's garden, as well as the fact that the head of the republic "introduced subscribers to his own parrot".

Revenges of Kadyrov and local TV people are mutual. A year earlier, Kadyrov had ordered Chechen officials to subscribe to the Grozny TV channel on social networks. At the same time, Kadyrov urged those who did not sign the subscription to be considered "dangerous people".

In June of this year, the statements of the director of the Grozny Chechen State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Chingiz Akhmadov caused a great resonance: in a video message, he threatened to kill Kadyrov's critics and those who joke about him and other Chechens.

“If someone needs to be killed, someone who deserves to die, then we will kill. If someone needs to be beaten, then we will beat; if it is necessary to say a word, then we will say a word”, - he said.

He called the enemies of the head of Chechnya "the dregs of society" and "inhumans".
