The head doctor of the hospital can be prosecuted for insulting doctors in social networks

The head physician signed a document according to which doctors no longer have the right to "wash dirty linen in public".

September 25 in the public of the city "Raduzhny!" on VKontakte, users reported that the city authorities did not agree on the picket, supported by the communists, against the head physician of the city hospital Lyudmila Zhukova. The head physician left a comment under the message with her own hand, calling the employee a "scum", a "mongrel" and advised her to "find a man" and "drink less", the 7x7 edition reports.

The employees also did not remain in debt and covered the boss with the same words that they heard in their address. So the struggle for rights and decent wages poured out on the pages of the public.

A law student at Vladimir University supported the hospital's doctors and wrote a complaint to the prosecutor's office and the police against the head physician Zhukova, demanding that she be held accountable for insulting her subordinates on social networks.

"In my opinion, the limits of acceptable criticism for public figures, officials and civil servants are much wider than for ordinary citizens. First of all, I also start from this principle. I consider unacceptable such incontinence and rudeness on the part of the head of a medical institution, especially in the context of the code of professional ethics, which she herself recently published", - said the student.

The head physician signed the notorious Code of Professional Ethics for Medical Workers in May 2021, after hospital staff began to demand their co-payments for covid. Behind the beautiful name about ethics, there was a banal desire - to silence the dissatisfied, because, according to this Code, the medical staff was prohibited from complaining and criticizing the hospital and colleagues, including the head physician.

However, this did not stop the furious paramedics. And they can be understood: they have not seen their earned co-payments for covid for six months. Only after they reached the governor of the Vladimir region in August did they receive their money.

Back in June, Acting Acting arrived at the hospital. Deputy Governor Olga Grebneva. The working conditions in the hospital are astounding, even by provincial standards. For the whole of Raduzhny there are only two ambulance brigades, and even then, one of them is not fully equipped. A wooden partition separates the changing room from the shower. There are no doors on the wardrobes with clothes, there is no dryer either. It is forbidden to bring a second set of clothes to work. They don't pay money for a covid. It is no wonder that paramedics are fleeing the hospital, and there is no one to work.

The provincial bosses, represented by the deputy governor, called the attitude of the head physician Zhukova towards her workers a pig. After a second check by the regional health department, she received a reprimand. And you think something has changed? No. And again nothing happened. The hospital workers decided to contact the journalists and tell them about the unbearable working conditions. We also wrote to the governor.

“We ask you to intervene in the situation and help us defend our labor rights. The efficiency of the ambulance and the health of the residents of the Vladimir region depends on this. Under the current chief physician, four paramedics have already left, but, no matter how hard it is for us, we love our job and are not going to quit”, - the disgruntled workers wrote to the Vladimir governor.

The money was paid to the workers immediately after the appeal - who wants to have such a scandal before the elections? But the matter did not go further. The head physician Zhukova, as she sat in her place, continues to sit. Moreover, the city prosecutor's office demanded to cancel the Code of Professional Ethics adopted with violations, but the head physician refused to comply with the order. Surprisingly, the prosecutor's office did not even know whether Zhukova was going to fulfill the demand or not.

Lyudmila Zhukova came to the city hospital in December 2020. Prior to that, she worked in a prison hospital and headed the Medical and Sanitary Unit No. 33 of the Federal Penitentiary Service in Vladimir. Any other chief physician would not have survived such a scandal, but in Raduzhny she is "appreciated". Zhukova's public statements give a rough idea of what tone prevails in the hospital, and with what words the boss hides her subordinates. This has little to do with ethics.

You just need to put yourself in the place of these nurses and paramedics, whom the angry boss calls them publicly, all over the country, "mongrels", "trash", advises them to "throw where they got kicked out from", "don't give a shit to me" - this is also from the communication protocol with subordinates. It is no wonder that desperate people respond in kind. But where is the head physician, and where are they? Do the chief doctors of other hospitals in Vladimir and the region talk to their subordinates in the same way? And if not, why is there no power that will put an end to Saltychikha's bullying of its subordinates?

Do not forget that Zhukova remains the boss and has power over her subordinates. Not only are the medical staff not paid and cannot or do not want to create human working conditions, as it should be, now they are also publicly insulted. And even if part of the team supported their boss, where is the guarantee that they did it for personal reasons.

What the health department of the Vladimir region will expect remains unclear. The notorious "dirty linen in public" has already been swept out and is circulating on the Internet. It is high time to intervene, because because of all this war situation, sick people are the first to suffer. And the pandemic in the country has not yet been canceled. It's time to make a decision.
