According to the study, 44% of Russians surveyed would not like to be officials. In the age group from 18 to 24 years old, such 50%, and in the group 45 and older - 42%.

At the same time, logistics managers (such 55%), PR managers (51%), storekeepers (46%), sales managers (44%), administrators and engineers (43% each) want to change jobs and become an official. ). On the contrary, the overwhelming majority of programmers (83%), designers and system administrators (76%) do not want to go to the civil service.

Moreover, most of the Russians who dream of making a career as an official live in Krasnodar (63%), Rostov-on-Don (57%) and Krasnoyarsk (56%). Residents of Kazan (26%), Ufa and Novosibirsk (32% each) would like to become civil servants least of all.

The survey was conducted on February 2-17, 2021 in all districts of Russia. It was attended by 5,000 respondents over 18 years of age and who have no experience in the civil service.
