Ministry of Health: The calm situation with coronavirus is taking shape in 21 regions

According to the minister, a favorable epidemiological situation is observed in 21 Russian regions today.

- According to our estimates, 21 regions are still quite calm. But the rest still has an epidemiological process. We can name several regions [where the situation is most calm], for example, the Tyumen region. Moscow gives a good result in reducing hospital admissions, in the number of cases, ” Murashko said on the air of the TV-channel Russia 1.

But even residents of affluent areas need to adhere to security measures.

As for quarantine, in each region it can be different, including restrictions that can be “floating”.

- There is a format including a “floating” mode of restrictions. Different modes may be used. Hard quarantine, floating events, when restrictions are introduced on weekends, - said Mikhail Murashko.

Let us recall that scientists of the Russian University of Chemical Technology Mendeleev (RHTU) said that the risk of infection with COVID-19 in the country will remain high for a month and a half.

In Russia, 502,436 cases of COVID-19 were registered. 6 532 people died from the disease. 261 150 people recovered.
