In the Republic of Buryatia, structural changes in the executive authorities are being prepared. The head of the region, Alexey Tsydenov, intends to "move on in the new government structure".

Today, January 15, it became known that the head of the Republic of Buryatia, Alexey Tsydenov, dismissed the regional government. He announced his decision during a meeting with members of the government, thanking them for the work done, indicating that together they went through difficult times.

"There are many tasks, they are not easy. Structural changes required. I want to talk to each of you separately. In the new format, in the new structure of the government, we will move on", - said Tsydenov.

The head of the region explained that one of the tasks facing the republic is to create conditions for the work and life of people in Buryatia. In addition, it is necessary to resolve environmental issues, stressed Tsydenov, meaning the preservation of Lake Baikal, waste management, elimination of accumulated damage and elimination of landfills. He also pointed out the importance of supporting families with children, veterans and retirees.

The new composition of the government, according to Tsydenov, will be approved in the near future, and before that he asked the members of the government to continue working.

"And I would like, colleagues, to talk to each of you separately. We will move on in a new format, in a new government structure”, - the head of Buryatia said.

It's worth reminding that in September 2020, citizens who rallied demanding a repeat election of the mayor of Ulan-Ude greeted Tsydenov, who had come to the protest rally, with shouts of "Shame!" and "Resign!".

We also note that in November Buryatia was included in the number of eight regions with a difficult situation in terms of coronavirus.
