Prosecutor asks for 13 years for opposition leader Alexey Navalny*

The prosecution asked the court to appoint oppositionist Alexey Navalny * 13 years in prison in the case of fraud and insulting the court. The prosecutor also demanded to recover from Navalny a fine of 1.2 million rubles.
Last week, Navalny* pleaded not guilty to a new criminal case against him involving insulting a judge and accusations of donation fraud.
He is currently in prison. The court replaced his suspended sentence in the YvRocher case with a real one. Later, another criminal case was initiated against him - under the article on fraud and contempt of court. The investigation believes that he stole about 2.7 million rubles in donations from his fund.
