Peskov called the situation with the rallies in Khabarovsk "non-standard" and "emotional"

"The emotional message of the residents of Khabarovsk or the region is understandable, because the situation is really very unusual and emotionally resonant. In this case, you need to understand that we are talking about very serious allegations against the current governor - allegations of involvement in the murder. This is a very serious charge. Here you just need to be patient", - RBC quotes Dmitry Peskov.

He warned that such actions in a pandemic are at risk of turning into "epidemiological consequences".

“In this connection, of course, we can only wish that people would pay great attention to themselves,” the spokesman said.

At the same time, a representative of the Kremlin said - mass protests cost "without provocations and excesses".

- This is very important, because the duty of law enforcement agencies is to prevent provocations. And thank God that there were no such provocations, ”said Peskov, refusing, however, to answer the question of whether the participants in the unauthorized actions would be punished. He redirected this question to law enforcement authorities.

Recall that earlier envoy Yuri Trutnev, arriving in Khabarovsk, criticized the work of the regional government. Peskov commented on the words of Deputy Prime Minister.

- Yuri Trutnev is the presidential envoy. He oversees this region. While supervising the region, he naturally possesses all the data on all the parameters of the region’s development, ”the spokesman noted, recalling that according to some parameters, positive dynamics is still observed in the Khabarovsk Territory.

“The main thing is to continue to fulfill the functions that the regional authorities should perform, despite the situation that arose in connection with the arrest of the governor Furgal”, - Peskov added.

Let us recall that Sergei Furgal was detained in Khabarovsk on July 9 on suspicion of organizing murders and attempted murders in 2004-2005. He was taken to Moscow, where the Basmanny court ruled on his arrest for two months.

Testimony against Furgal was given by his former business partner and former co-owner of the Amurstal plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur Nikolay Mistryukov, who was arrested in November last year.

Zhirinovsky said that according to the wife of Mistryukov, “very difficult conditions were created for him in the pre-trial detention center - he is deprived of sleep, subjected to serious psychological pressure, and he also has been in a deeply low-spirited state for months”.

“We did everything so that he would testify at Furgal”, - said the LDPR leader.

Let us note that another person involved in the Furgal case, businessman Andrei Paley, the Basmanny court of Moscow extended the arrest until October 18, reports TASS. Paley does not admit his guilt in organizing the killings, which he managed to tell reporters about when he was escorted to the courtroom.
