Prosecutor General's Office Declares Bellingcat* and The Insider* Unwanted

The General Prosecutor's Office of Russia has recognized the activities of four non-profit organizations in the country as undesirable.

These included Bellingcat* and The Insider*, who previously received the status of foreign agents.

In addition, the list of undesirable organizations also includes Stichting Bellingcat (Netherlands) and the Central and Eastern European Legal Initiative Institute (CEELI Institute) (Czech Republic).

The activities of all four organizations pose a threat to the foundations of the constitutional order and security, the Prosecutor General's Office explained.

At present, we recall that 65 organizations are on the list of undesirable organizations.

Recall that the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, pointed out that The Insider *, the Project ** and the structures of Alexei Navalny *** are connected with Bellingcat *, where ex-special service employees work and whose information is used to put pressure on the country .
