42% of Russians opposed the introduction of unified QR-codes for COVID-19 vaccination throughout the country. These are the results of a survey conducted by the SuperJob portal.

The introduction of mandatory QR-codes is often opposed by young people aged 25-34 years. In this category of respondents, almost half of the respondents (49%) do not support this initiative. Also, women are more likely to oppose QR-codes than men. The poll showed that 44% of respondents and 41% of respondents are against such an initiative. And, of course, most of the opponents of the introduction of such restrictions were among those who have not yet been vaccinated against the coronavirus. 70% of unvaccinated respondents opposed such an initiative, according to the results of the survey.

16% of Russians could not decide on their attitude to this initiative. The others supported her.

Among those who support the introduction of QR-codes, the majority (38% of survey participants) note that they should be entered primarily for attending public events. Another 28% and 26% of respondents note the need to introduce QR-codes in transport: on airplanes and trains, respectively. Every fourth person supported the introduction of QR-codes in restaurants and cafes. 23% supported visiting cultural institutions only by QR-code. 16% for shopping. Recall that on November 12, the government made for consideration by the State Duma bills on the introduction of unified QR-codes throughout the country. If these bills are adopted, as early as February 1, 2022, Russians will be able to attend mass events, restaurants and cafes, cultural institutions only by QR-codes, or certificates of a recent illness. The authorities also propose to introduce a QR-code check when buying tickets. by train and plane.

The introduction of QR codes was previously commented on by the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov. He called this measure inevitable and timely.
