The Russians will not be able to avoid either vaccination or revaccination during the spread of the epidemic. This was stated by the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

The spokesperson was asked if the president knows what worries Russians about vaccinations, in particular when it can be repeated, and whether free antibody tests will be introduced so that residents can track their number and get vaccinated on time. The spokesman noted that the president is regularly reported on the situation with the pandemic in the country. According to him, Vladimir Putin's position on revaccination is not important. It is important what doctors and vaccine developers say about this.

"As for the analyzes, this is not a cheap pleasure. As far as I know, there are no talks about making this pleasure free", - the president's press secretary said. His words are quoted by RBC.

So far, the country still has low rates of vaccination of people. The third wave of the epidemic began. Since the beginning of June, the daily increase in the number of cases of coronavirus has doubled. Over the past four days, over 17 thousand cases have been recorded in the country every day. With the increase in the number of cases, regional authorities began to take tough incentive measures in order to oblige residents to get vaccinated. Thus, in a number of regions, vaccination has become mandatory for at least 60% of employees of enterprises, including government agencies. In Bashkiria, the governor issued a decree, which, from Monday, prohibited those who had not been vaccinated from going to museums, theaters and cinema, as well as visiting libraries and concert halls. From next week, they will also be prohibited from going to cafes and restaurants, beauty salons, hairdressers, fitness rooms.

A revaccination program is being launched in Moscow for those who have previously been vaccinated against coronavirus. As the mayor of the city Sergey Sobyanin explained, this decision is connected with the fact that in the capital cases of re-infection of those who had previously been vaccinated or had had a coronavirus are recorded. Their antibody levels dropped, and an Indian strain began to spread in the capital.
