More than a third of employees face fines at work

According to a study of the Rabota.ru service, the results of which are cited by RIA Novosti, 62% of employees were not affected by fines at their place of work. 33% said they were fined themselves. Others said that fines are a common practice in their companies, but they themselves were not fined.

63% of the respondents specified that, in general, the amount of the fine did not exceed a thousand rubles. 19% indicated that the fines in their company ranged from one thousand to three thousand rubles, 10% of the survey participants named amounts from three to five thousand rubles. In companies where 8% of respondents work, fines of more than five thousand rubles have been introduced.

In 42% of cases, employees who improperly performed their official duties were fined. 38% fined for being late, 26% paid for a safety violation. 20% were punished for shortage. The fact that the company is fined for inappropriate communication with customers, said 14% of survey participants. For inappropriate clothes at work, they were fined in 9% of cases.

At the same time, 57% of survey participants admitted that they did not know about the prohibition of monetary fines for employees in accordance with labor law. 43% are familiar with this prohibition.
