In the Irkutsk region, covid centers will be opened on the basis of polyclinics

"In the spring there was a big load on hospitals, now it is laid on polyclinics. In fact, they become covid. This will help to separate the flows of patients with suspected coronavirus and other diseases. Also, you have doctors over 65 who are in isolation. They can be involved in the provision of remote consultations", - said Sergey Menyailo.

The consultation can be obtained by calling the unified information line "122", which will start operating in the region by the end of the week.

It is assumed that the streams of incoming questions will be divided into three areas: the delivery of tests and the work of laboratories, the closing of sick leaves and the treatment of outpatients.

During his visit to the Irkutsk region, the plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation also visited the ambulance station. Now 56 brigades are working on the line. Sergei Menyailo was shown the work of a mobile automated doctor's station. With the help of a special program in a computer tablet, doctors can monitor the availability of free beds in hospitals in real time.

As it turned out, the situation with the free bed capacity has leveled off today. On November 20, an additional infectious diseases department was opened in the Irkutsk City Clinical Hospital No. 3 for 90 beds, the second building in the Angarsk Perinatal Center for 104 beds. In general, all medical institutions dealing with the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection are provided with the necessary medicines, PPE and equipment.

"The work of a unified information system has been organized, into which all medical institutions upload data on available and necessary drugs", - reported the head of the region Igor Kobzev.

During a visit to the laboratory of the Irkutsk Regional Clinical Consultative and Diagnostic Center, the head of the region and the plenipotentiary of the President discussed the issue of increasing the number of tests for Covid-19. To date, absolutely all tests have been made, which were stored frozen for a long time. At the moment, about 10 thousand tests are performed in the region per day. There are plans to increase their number to 16 thousand.

"In the Irkutsk region, the situation with the incidence of covid is not the worst. A system of prevention and treatment has been built. Testing is at a good level. But we need to continue to work to increase the volume of research. Yes, there are risk areas, and you need to work with them. The fight against coronavirus is now a common task", - stressed Sergey Menyailo.

The plenipotentiary also suggested that the regional pharmacy chains consider the possibility of reducing the trade margin for vital drugs.
