Sergey Goncharov: the infection of Islamic radicalism is spreading across Russia

Let us remind you that today, November 25, the FSB announced the arrest of members of the organization who were preparing terrorist acts on the territory of Moscow. According to the department, they, among other things, recruited new supporters and raised money for the needs of the terrorists.

This is the fourth case of suppression of terrorist attacks in the country in the past two months. Goncharov believes that the "infection" of Islamic radicalism is spreading in Russia very quickly due to the events in Syria and the collapse in relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. In his opinion, the process will continue.

“The Russian special services now have a big problem - these cells, which are now on the territory of our country. The results reported by both Patrushev [secretary of the Russian Security Council] and Bortnikov [director of the FSB] testify to good intelligence and operational work, which makes it possible to stop these problems. But in any case, this is not an indicator that the problem is being solved: it remains the number one problem for the country”, - Goncharov emphasized.
