Heads of Irkutsk and Kemerovo regions got infected with coronavirus

The agency was confirmed by the government of the Irkutsk region that Kobzev's test for coronavirus was positive. The governor is on self-isolation, continues to work and feels well.

Earlier, the governor of the Kemerovo region reported that the coronavirus was found in his wife. Now Tsivilyov also developed symptoms, and later the infection was confirmed.

Recall that on the eve of his Instagram, Kobzev wrote that additional beds are being prepared in the region for those infected with covid, and on the square next to the Irkutsk Regional Diagnostic Center, where long queues are formed from those wishing to be tested for coronavirus, the regional head office of the Ministry of Emergencies has set up four tents.

"It's already freezing temperatures outside. In tents, you can warm yourself up for those who have been standing in line for a long time to take a test for covid", - wrote Kobzev.

According to data as of October 25, 22,972 cases of covid infection were registered in the Irkutsk region, 368 people died, 19,169 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals. In the Kemerovo region, 14,178 cases were detected, 195 people died, 9825 recovered.
