Initial mortgage payment for the families with children will be reduced to 15%

The term for executing the order is until May 20.

Recall that on March 6, during a meeting between the head of state and representatives of the public in the Ivanovo region, one of the participants pointed out that, despite the favorable conditions for a mortgage for families with children, many cannot use the measure because of the high down payment established by the bank.

The President noted that this issue requires consideration.

- The down payment is difficult for young families with children, it is difficult. We will think, the government will think. Consider that such an order already exists. We will estimate, and technically it is necessary to organize, but also financially calculate. But this is really a problem, we know about it, we will work on it, ”Putin assured.

Note that earlier the government approved a program of preferential mortgages at 6.5%. A program of special preferential mortgages, according to which citizens can purchase comfort-class housing, was previously proposed by Vladimir Putin. According to government estimates, the implementation of the initiative will cost about 6 billion rubles.
