53% of parents said that their students are unprecedentedly behind in the educational program. However, the school administration does not agree with this opinion of the majority of pupils' parents. On the contrary, the directors believe that there is practically no lag this year.

Such data are provided by RBC, referring to a study by the Aktion Education group of services.

According to the survey, 47% of school leaders said that the gap was minimal, and every fifth director is absolutely sure that his students are not lagging behind the program at all. Among parents, only 29% share this opinion.

The principals named, for example, the annual decrease in results after the summer holidays (about 40% of the respondents) as the reason for the lag of students in the educational program. Only 11% of parents feel the same way. Basically - 54% - of parents are sure that distance learning is to blame for poor academic performance. This is what led to the failure in knowledge this spring. Moreover, 20% of parents recalled that teachers are not ready to work remotely.

Let us note that most of the schools did not go to remote work in the fall. Basically, institutions in large cities went into quarantine.

20.4% of schools transferred to distance learning only those classes in which cases of covid were detected. 7% of schools were completely closed.

More than half of the parents - 51% - said that their children continued to go to school in the fall. The rest noted that the students nevertheless switched to the distance format - either by the whole school or by a separate class.

Recall that the transition to distance learning has caused a lot of problems - both for educational institutions and for families of schoolchildren. Many teachers were unable to teach meaningful lessons without the personal presence of students, and many parents, in turn, were not ready to independently supervise or help children with homework. The Minister of Education of Bashkiria, for example, said that such a teaching format is ineffective, since the teacher turns into a "talking head". And in practice, the decline in academic performance is clearly reflected: the results of the All-Russian test works for students in grade 10 have worsened compared to last year. According to the minister, distance education should not replace traditional, but can only become a help.

A mother of many children from Ishimbay even turned to the State Duma, asking them not to "mock" the children and parents.
