23-year-old Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina won the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Phillip Island Trophy in Melbourne. In the final, she beat the Czech athlete Maria Buzkova. The fight ended with the score 4: 6, 6: 2, 6: 2.
The prize fund of the tournament is 235.2 thousand dollars, according to the release on the website of its organizers.
For Kasatkina's rival, this was the second final. So far, the athlete from the Czech Republic has failed to win in any of them.
