  • According to The New York Times, сurrently, 5.29 billion vaccinations have been made worldwide.
  • On average, 69 doses of anticancer vaccines were delivered per 100 people.
  • The campaign is most successful in the United Arab Emirates - 87% of the population are fully vaccinated against covid, 76% received one dose. For comparison, in Russia, which is in the second half of the list, these figures are respectively 30% and 25%.
  • The five leaders also include Uruguay, Malta, Qatar and Singapore. Outsiders are Burkina Faso, Tanzania, Chad, Haiti and Congo. In Congo, 0.1 vaccinations are given per 100 people.
  • There is a huge gap between the rates of vaccination on different continents. If in Europe 99 vaccinations were made per 100 people, then in Africa - only 7.4.
  • 82% of all vaccines produced in the world were received by residents of countries with high and above-average incomes. In poor countries, residents received only 0.3% of all doses in the world.
  • Another graph shows the number of countries using a given vaccine. The most widely distributed vaccines in the world are AstraZeneca - they were used or are being used in 184 countries. The Russian Sputnik V vaccine is or has been used in 45 countries.
