Many of you, probably, simply will not believe what will be discussed below, but you still have to believe, because the information on the official sites is easy to check by links. The question is how exactly it should be perceived and understood. It's about the zombie apocalypse.

If in the first case, from the point of view of a normal person, one can only talk about a certain amount of very specific humor, then in the second case there is no place for irony.

So, in the United States, they thought of promoting the need to prepare for various kinds of disasters with the help of zombies. Apparently, in the opinion of the authors of the campaign, already known as "satanic", this is very original. Actually, for a country where the holiday of the evil spirits, Halloween, is so adored, this, apparently, is really quite logical.

"Get A Kit, Make A Plan, Be Prepared", - this is the motto of this project to prepare for the uprising of the dead, which for ten years has been conducted not by some sharashkin office, but by an American structure called the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), that is, for a minute, our analogue of the Ministry of Health.

Here is the explanation for the "zombie pandemic" on the CDC website:

Wonder why zombies, zombie apocalypse, and zombie preparedness continue to live or walk dead on a CDC web site? As it turns out what first began as a tongue-in-cheek campaign to engage new audiences with preparedness messages has proven to be a very effective platform. We continue to reach and engage a wide variety of audiences on all hazards preparedness via “zombie preparedness"".

And here's what it says in a more detailed message to everyone involved in the lessons on preparing for the zombie apocalypse:After the successful zombie preparedness campaign in 2011, an overwhelming number of educators requested zombie-themed preparedness activities for school-aged children. This website was created to help educators teach middle school aged children the basics of emergency preparedness and response using a fun, fictitious scenario. All lessons posted on this website are fluid, and we appreciate any feedback as to what works and what does not work in practice. The information provided is not exhaustive, but a solid beginning on what it means to be prepared and how it affects students and their community. Feel free to modify these activities, pass them along, and share your own preparedness lesson plans with us. Whether you are a middle school teacher, scout leader, librarian, or public health ambassador, we hope these lessons will help in teaching the importance of getting a kit, making a plan, and being prepared. Have comments or suggestions? Send feedback to [email protected]".

Novye Izvestia also found examples of lessons on this topic:

"You’ve been briefed that a zombie apocalypse is imminent. Often, the past influences and shapes the future. The agency needs a full report on a previous disaster to help plan for the zombie pandemic.

  1. What happened?
  2. How many people were affected?
  3. How did the communities respond?
  4. What could have been done better to prepare?
  5. What would you recommend to others?
  6. How would this information help you in an emergency?

Assign each student or pair a previous event and have them research an assigned disaster. Use the remaining class period for brief presentations and discussion on preparedness.

  • Joplin tornado (2011)
  • Hurricane Katrina (2005)
  • Hurricane Irene (2011)
  • September 11, 2001
  • Chernobyl (1986)
  • Japan Earthquake and Tsunami (2011)
  • Haiti Earthquake (2010)
  • San Francisco Earthquake (1906)
  • Wildfires in Southern California (2007)
  • Nashville Flood (2010)
  • H1N1 (2009)
  • Spanish Influenza (1918)
  • Polio (1952)
  • Oklahoma City bombing (1995)
  • Chicago Heat Wave (2005)
  • Arkansas Floods (2010)
  • Super Tuesday Tornado Outbreak (2008)
  • Blizzard of 1999
  • Storm of the Century (1993)
  • SARS in Asia (2002)
  • London Train Bombing (2005)
  • Anthrax Attacks (2001)

Classify the types of disasters: natural, epidemic, biological, terrorism. Discuss preparedness measures for each type of disaster based on lessons learned.

Discussion:

What are the likely threats that would affect our community? Based on what we’ve learned from past events, how should we prepare for emergencies?"

Another lesson says: "When zombies are hungry they won’t stop until they get food, which means you need to get out of town fast".

Further, the planners of survival during the zombie apocalypse remind: “So, what do you need to do before the zombies actually come ... or hurricanes or pandemics happen? First of all, you must have a survival kit in your home. It includes things like water, food, and various supplies to help you get through the first couple of days before you can find a zombie-free zone (or in case of a natural disaster, this will give you some time until you can get there.) to an evacuation shelter or until utilities are restored).

Below are a few items that you should include in your kit. A complete list can be found on the CDC Emergency page or on the Ready.govexternal icon.

Water; - food (stock up on non-perishable foods that you eat regularly); - Medicines (including prescription and over-the-counter medicines); - Tools and supplies (stationery knife, electrical tape, radio with batteries, etc.); - Sanitary and hygiene items (household bleach, soap, towels, etc.); - Clothes and bed linen (change of linen for each family member, blankets); - Important documents (copies of your driver's license, passport and birth certificate); "First aid supplies ( although you're finished if bitten by a zombie, you can use these remedies to treat major cuts and lacerations that can occur during a tornado or hurricane)".

Etc.

By the way, the writer, cryptographer and researcher of occult symbols Vadim Shegalov recently showed a screenshot of 2013 on his YouTube channel, where the governor of Kansas, as part of this advertising zombie campaign, poses in his office surrounded by "corpses".

Darling, you won’t say anything.

Inspired by the success of the campaign, the CDC even released a graphic novel about the zombie apocalypse.

CDC has a fun way of teaching about emergency preparedness. Our graphic novel, “Preparedness 101: Zombie Pandemic” demonstrates the importance of being prepared in an entertaining way that people of all ages will enjoy. Readers follow Todd, Julie, and their dog Max as a strange new disease begins spreading, turning ordinary people into zombies. Stick around to the end for a surprising twist that will drive home the importance of being prepared for any emergency. Included in the novel is a Preparedness Checklist so that readers can get their family, workplace, or school ready before disaster strikes. View the novel".

But such a disgusting poster in the CDC proposes to download and, obviously, place "everywhere-where" in order to popularize this very readiness to meet with zombies and not only.

Meanwhile, the website of Amazon, the world's largest e-commerce and public cloud computing platform by revenue and market capitalization, provides information that cannot be called a joke.

Because we are talking about one of the clauses of the Amazon Service Terms of Service (AWS Service Terms) , which says, in fact, the cancellation of this user agreement, in the event of that very zombie apocalypse. It is curious that this document was updated just the other day - September 2, 2021 (Last Updated: September 2, 2021).

Judge for yourself. Clause 42.10 states: “Acceptable Use; Safety-Critical Systems. Your use of the Lumberyard Materials must comply with the AWS Acceptable Use Policy. The Lumberyard Materials are not intended for use with life-critical or safety-critical systems, such as use in operation of medical equipment, automated transportation systems, autonomous vehicles, aircraft or air traffic control, nuclear facilities, manned spacecraft, or military use in connection with live combat. However, this restriction will not apply in the event of the occurrence (certified by the United States Centers for Disease Control or successor body) of a widespread viral infection transmitted via bites or contact with bodily fluids that causes human corpses to reanimate and seek to consume living human flesh, blood, brain or nerve tissue and is likely to result in the fall of organized civilization".

Note that according to the aforementioned cryptographer Vadim Shegalov, "Lumberyard is such a free "machine" powered by Amazon, which they purchased from two gaming companies." The official information specifies: "Lumberyard is a cross-platform game engine on which you can create games for most modern platforms for free: PC, Mac, iOS / Android, all consoles, including virtual reality glasses".

Many of us, of course, remember all sorts of absurdities from the series "do not wash your cat" in the instructions for the washing machine, but here... Just read it again and think about it!

"...transmitted via bites or contact with bodily fluids that causes human corpses to reanimate and seek to consume living human flesh...". And this "viral infection" must by all means be "certified by the United States Centers for Disease Control or successor body"! And why, if this does happen, the restriction "will not apply"?

In general, as they say, without half a liter it is difficult to understand what is written in this paragraph of the "Amazon" document. But, be that as it may, the above sounds really creepy and raises many questions...

Network users who have already started discussing this topic on RuNet emphasize: behind the scenes, no matter how comic, mocking or idiotic they seem at first glance, it is important to give a hard mental rebuff and not succumb to such "predictive programming".
