Democrats Win Majority in US Senate

In the second round of elections for the US Senate in Georgia, the current mandate holder Democrat Raphael Warnock won. After 98% of the ballots were processed, Warnock won 51.3% of the vote, while his rival, Republican Herschel Walker, received 48.7%.
Warnock's victory secured the Democrats 51 seats out of 100 in the Senate. The US midterm elections kicked off on November 8. The Republicans were able to gain control of the House of Representatives, taking 222 seats against 213 from the Democrats. This will allow them to participate in the formation of the agenda in the country in the next two years.
Recall that according to the results of voting in the midterm elections to the US Congress, representatives of the Republican Party won. By-elections were held on 8 November.
