A lawyer from Texas was unable to cope with the computer settings and participated in a video conference with a judge with a cat filter on his face.

The transfer of work and life to the digital space became commonplace during the pandemic, but not everyone was able to get used to virtual reality.

A video appeared on the network about a curious situation during a hearing in the United States, held in Zoom-format, reports The Guardian. A lawyer from Texas, Rod Ponton, involved in the trial, failed to turn off a filter installed on a computer by someone from his household, and appeared on the screen in the form of a touching kitten.

In the video, you can see Judge Roy Ferguson saying to Ponton, “I assume you have a filter turned on in your video settings. Perhaps you should... "His remark is interrupted by the frightened voice of the kitten-Ponton: "Can you hear me, judge? " Ferguson: “I can hear you. You seem to have a filter...", "Yes", - answers the Ponton kitten. - And I don't know how to take it off. I have an assistant here, she is also trying... But I am ready to continue... It's me. I'm not a cat". In response, Ferguson calmly says: "I see".

Judge Ferguson tried to learn a lesson from the curiosity: he posted a video on his Twitter and commented: “If a child has been on your computer before joining the virtual hearing, check the Video Zoom Options to make sure the filters are off. These funny moments are a byproduct of the justice system continuing to function despite difficult times. All those present treated it with dignity, and the “filtered” lawyer showed incredible charisma. Real professionalism!".
