Based on the number of requests, this year's Halloween parties will feature a ton of people wearing green tracksuits and white slip-ons.

"Squid costume" is the most popular search query on the Internet ahead of this Halloween, according to CNN. The clothes of the heroes of the series account for a third of all requests. (For your information, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Joker, Spider-Man, Pennywise, Harry Potter and Wonder Woman costumes are also in the top 10.) And no wonder: Netflix recently reported that the Korean drama was the company's most successful launch: with September, 111 million accounts watched the show's official platform. The previous record was held by the Bridgertons, which were watched by 82 million within a month.

The most popular Halloween costume promises to be green sweatshirts with a sweatshirt, as well as white Vans slip-on sneakers. The latter, after the premiere of the series, showed a 7800% increase in sales, and the volume of Internet searches on them jumped by 97%. To customize the costume, you need a number patch: the protagonist Song Ki Hoon wears the number 456, the insidious Kang Sae-bek - 067, and the villain Jang Deok-su - 101.

Some fans of the series, judging by requests, prefer to act as security guards. They are looking for red jumpsuits (62% more searches) and fencing masks. The third is closer to the animatronic doll, which monitors the participants in the game and kills those who move. She is dressed in an orange dress, yellow T-shirt, white knee socks and shoes. In addition, there are characters who watch the action outside of the game: the mysterious Frontman running the show, several people wearing golden animal masks who bet on their players, and Hwang Jun Ho, dressed as a waiter, who tries to figure out what's going on.

As the LiveJournal magazine "Our yard" notes, due to the fact that the Korean creators of the series have not patented the copyright for the characters and images, the costumes can be produced and sold by anyone. Small businesses have taken advantage of this: enterprising Chinese manufacturers have established wholesale tailoring of suits and express delivery abroad. However, most of the characters in the series wear the most ordinary clothes, so you can easily assemble the costume yourself.
