Incumbent French President Emmanuel Macron won 58.55% of the vote in the second round of elections, while his rival Marine Le Pen - 41.45%.

At the moment, 100% of the votes have been counted. The leader of the far-right National Rally party, Le Pen, admitted defeat, but promised to fulfill all her obligations to the French. For example, she stated that her political movement would start fighting in the parliamentary elections.

The voter turnout was 63.23%.
