After the announcement in Russia of partial mobilization on September 21, about 98,000 more Russians left for Kazakhstan. This was announced by the acting head of the committee of the migration service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country Aslan Atalykov.

According to him, out of almost 100 thousand people who entered the country, 64.2 thousand Russians have already left the republic. Individual identification numbers in the country issued only about eight thousand visitors.

Recall that the country's border service reported an increased flow of emigrants from Russia two days after the announcement of partial mobilization in the country. The republican Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that about 40,000 Russians passed through the territory of Kazakhstan during this time.

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed the government to help the Russians who arrived in the country, but noted that they would not be able to count on preferences.
