New forest fires have been reported in Guvercinlik in the Bodrum region, Didim in Aydin province and Yenikey in the Alanya region of Turkey.

The Titanic Hotel, where Russian tourists lived, had to be evacuated. According to RIA Novosti, Russian tourists who were vacationing at the hotel are currently being temporarily transferred to other hotels.

On the eve, the authorities of the Antalya province announced the outbreak of a strong forest fire in the Manavgat region. Initially, it was reported about the evacuation of 18 people. One person died. Later it became known about three victims of the fire and 122 injured. 19 helicopters and 192 fire trucks were involved in extinguishing the fire.

The head of the Russian Defense Ministry, at the direction of President Vladimir Putin, sent a Be-200 amphibious aircraft from the naval aviation of the Navy to Turkey to provide assistance.

"
