30-year-old anti-vaxxer radio host from Texas who fought against masks died of covid

The death of her husband was reported by his widow Jessica Wallace, writes the local edition of the San Angelo Standart Times. Caleb Wallace was an anti-vaccination activist and led protests against wearing masks and other preventive measures in his Texas town. In early July, he organized a "Freedom Rally" in San Angelo, with supporters carrying posters against academics and the liberal media they believed were behind the pandemic. In addition, Wallace organized the San Angelo Freedom Defenders group and demanded the abolition of all antiquated protocols in schools.

At the end of July, according to his widow, Wallace felt coronavirus symptoms, but refused to be examined. Instead, he took high doses of vitamin C, aspirin, zinc and ivermectin - a set of drugs that doctors strongly advise against taking for covid. On July 30, he was taken to the emergency room, and from August 8, he was unconscious on a ventilator. The doctors could not save him, he died of extensive lung damage.

According to his less conservative widow, Wallace tried to convince her that all precautions were useless, but she preferred to wear a mask.
