The Federal Treasury has launched an audit of the expenses of the Russian Defense Ministry for conducting a special military operation. In particular, spending on bulletproof vests, communications equipment and fuel is being checked.

The volume of waste disposal in Russia decreased after the introduction of Western sanctions that disrupted the supply of equipment.

On December 30 - the day of peak pre-New year demand - spending by Russian buyers may fall by 24% year-on-year. Expenses on this day will be the minimum for the last five years.
