To get warm up and cool down: why the Earth's climate is changing

To get warm up and cool down: why the Earth's climate is changing

The climate in translation from the ancient Greek literally means "tilt" - the angle of inclination of the Earth's surface to the rays of the Sun. Changes in the inclination of our planet lead to climate change, says researcher Vladimir Garmatyuk.

Vladimir Garmatyuk, Vologda

On the night of December 12, 2015, a two-week interstate UN Climate Conference, codenamed COP-21, ended with great difficulty in Paris. The conference was attended by representatives from 195 countries, including many top officials of states. As the world media reported, the negotiations were extremely difficult due to many disagreements, and to speed up the process, US President Barack Obama even called and hurried Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The participants of the conference solved the issues of dividing production quotas for "greenhouse" (carbon dioxide) CO2. The "aim" of the organizers of the meeting was distant - the concentration of production and money in the hands of large monopolies, and, ultimately, their complete dominance in the sphere of production. The external plausible pretext for the conference was a "good purpose" to prevent the temperature on Earth from rising by more than two degrees compared to the end of the 19th century.

If this Parisian "greenhouse" conference COP-21 took place on some island in Papua New Guinea, and its participants were savages from the surrounding villages, they would be condescendingly forgiven.

Because even more than two thousand years ago, astronomers of ancient Egypt discovered the phenomenon of precession (the axis of the Earth relative to the tilt to the Sun moves in a circle). The toy "spinning top" (whirligig), known to many since childhood, begins to sway before stopping, and the more it slows down, the more it sways. This same phenomenon occurs with the Earth and is called precession.

Due to its rotation around the axis, the Earth does not have time to overheat and overcool, and therefore there is a variety of life on it. The more the Earth slows down its rotation, the more it will wobble and the more abruptly the temperature drops will occur (the weather will change more sharply). And when the Earth stops, then on one side, turned to the Sun, it will have a hot sandy desert, and on the other, a cold, snowy desert. The moon, for example, no longer rotates in precession, it has stopped and is turned to the Earth on one side.

...

At present, the Earth, while rotating around its axis, slows down its motion. Deceleration is a variable value and is about 0.1 - 1 second for a thousand years.

With damped rotation, the Earth sways like a whirligig, more substituting to the Sun, now one place, then another place. In exactly the same way as a person, warming himself by the fire, turns to the fire, now one side or the other.

What is the significance of the angle of inclination of the Sun's rays to the Earth - everyone understands, observing the change of seasons from winter to summer and in the opposite direction in all the variety of weather changes. Even daily temperature changes depend on the Sun's height above the horizon, not to mention its global change throughout the year.

In the precession of the Earth, one complete revolution of the planet's axis in a circle (360 degrees) occurs in 25920 years (in 72 years by 1 degree). The angle of deviation of the Earth's axis (from the conventional center) when the planet wobbles is 23 degrees 27 minutes.

What will be 23 degrees latitude on Earth?

1 degree of latitude (longitude) of the Earth is 111.1 kilometers.

Accordingly, 23 degrees and 27 minutes - 2600 kilometers.

This is roughly, on a globe, as the distance from Sweden to Cyprus.

The angle between the maximum and minimum inclination of the Earth to the Sun in precession is twice as large and is already 46 degrees and 54 minutes (5200 km.). And this is roughly the distance from the Arctic Circle to Africa.

Everyone understands that one weather on Earth (and in particular in our Northern Hemisphere) will be when the Earth exposes the coast of Africa to the rays of the Sun. And completely different, when at the same angle of inclination, under the same rays - the northern shores of Scandinavia. It is also clear that in this case, in the polar latitudes of Russia, North America, Greenland, Scandinavia, there will be no longer a long, cold polar night, the Sun will rise high there and the heat will be the same as today in northern Africa.

And pay attention here to the fact that the factor of the Earth's tilt to the Sun will act for more than one short-term period, as with the annual climate change from winter to summer, and the influence will occur for thousands of years! Many, many, many years! Gradual warming up or in the opposite direction of movement - cooling.

The ancient Egyptians and Greeks called the full circle of 25920 years of precessionary rotation and wobble of the planet - the great year of the Earth ("Plato's year"), with all its global climate changes.

Thus, the precession (change in the inclination of the Earth to the rays of the Sun) has the only important global and cyclical effect on the change of weather.

Completely and completely weather (climate) on Earth (temperature, humidity, water level in the world's oceans, flora and fauna, and everything else) does not depend on the opinion of "scientists" at a conference in Paris on greenhouse gases, but on the astronomical phenomenon of precession, that is, on a long-term change for thousands of years tilt of the planet Earth to the Sun.

The total amount of heat from the Sun to the Earth's surface comes unchanged during the great Platonic year. But it is distributed on Earth, depending on the angle of inclination in the precessional position of our planet in different ways.

Knowledge of geology says that ice ages on Earth were repeated many times, and the last ice age ended about 10 - 12 thousand years ago.

Despite the cyclical periods of cooling and warming on Earth, no conclusions have been drawn from this, judging by the Paris conference. The phenomenon of the influence of the planet's precession on the global change in the weather has not yet been comprehended by humanity (its most advanced part, which calls itself “scientists”). Lesson learned!

During the periods of glaciation in the Northern Hemisphere, the ice shell sometimes dropped to the latitude of the modern cities of Kiev, Berlin and London.

Scandinavia, the Baltic, Canada and Siberia were under a multi-meter layer of ice and snow. In places the ice was the same as today in Antarctica. Due to the fact that a huge mass of terrestrial water was concentrated in ice on the northern continents, covering a large area of Eurasia and America, then the level of the world ocean was 100-200 meters lower than the current one.

What is now flooded was dry land during the periods of glaciation.

Now let's think ...

If the cooling was 10 - 12 thousand years ago (and half of the great circle of the Earth's axis is 12,960 years), then with the precessional movement of our planet , the heat peak in the Northern Hemisphere has not yet passed. The real heat (its peak) will be in one to three thousand years. Until then, there will be constant warming.

This warming will be reflected as follows.

For example, endless summer rains in our Northern Hemisphere are caused by the warming up of the atmosphere and the Earth's surface by the rays of the Sun. As a result, the ice melts with increased evaporation of moisture and its return to the Earth in the form of prolonged rains, raising the water level in open water bodies and underground aquifers.

Or, many have heard (seen on TV news) in the spring of 2018 about a huge crack in the land in Africa. It was also called “the split of the continent”. This is also a manifestation of increased heating, but already its effect is manifested in Africa.

Now on Earth for the Northern Hemisphere, according to the "age of precession" (if the entire "great Platonic year" 25920 years is divided by months), approximately like "May-June" - that is, just the beginning of "stormy spring melting of snow", the beginning summer.

Passage of the heat peak in precession on the Earth will come in 1-3 thousand years - "in July" and by inertia for about four thousand more years "August - September" will be very warm. One can imagine and predict the consequences of this.

Modern deserts will move higher to the north, today's steppes will dry up, modern forest zones will turn into steppes, swamps in the tundra will dry up and become overgrown with deciduous forests. The Arctic Ocean will be moderately warm. Winters in the North will be snowless. In the next thousand years, ice will melt throughout the Northern Hemisphere, and the total level of the world's oceans will rise significantly from this.

If coal and oil are mined on the Spitsbergen islands, in the Arctic, in the north of Russia and in Siberia, it means that previously there was a lush tree vegetation. Coal and oil lie in layers and layers - that is, there were times of heat and cold, heat and cold alternately. This means that the warmth in the Arctic in the history of the Earth has already been many times ...

As the northern ice melts under the sun's rays, the melted water will heat up. Warm northern water by ocean currents will wash away and melt ice in Antarctica, breaking off huge icebergs from the ice continent, and this will further raise the total water level in the seas and oceans.

As a result, large areas of modern coasts and coastal cities in the world will find themselves deep under water.

But you shouldn't worry about all this today, because by that time there will be other values and priorities in the life of mankind.

Nobody today knows to what extent the temperature on Earth will rise in our first (for meaningful consciousness) current Platonic year during the period of the maximum tilt of the Northern Hemisphere to the rays of the Sun caused by the precession.

Of course, it is possible to simulate the situation on a computer, but humanity is not capable of changing the precessional climate change. The situation must be accepted with resignation, as well as the presence of the Sun and stars in the sky.

In 1 - 3 thousand years, having reached the peak of the heat in the Northern Hemisphere, the Earth in its precessional motion will tilt in the opposite direction. And after another 13 thousand years, it will reach the "peak of cold". The ice age will come again in the Northern Hemisphere. Scandinavia, northern Europe, Siberia and Canada will be covered with a thick layer of snow and ice, perhaps several hundred meters or more. The water of the Earth will concentrate in these ices, and the level of the oceans will again drop by one to two hundred meters or more. The huge northern ice in the Northern Hemisphere will get colder. The coast of Antarctica in the period of "peak cold" will be somewhat ice-free and will become a habitable green continent.

And so on the Earth every large precessional Platonic year (for the current one - 25920 years) will cyclically occur.
