281 residential buildings in the Amur Region were flooded as a result of the flood on the Amur. Rescuers evacuated 955 people, including 254 children. An interregional emergency regime has been declared.

96 people were taken to temporary accommodation centers, 46 of whom are children. According to local authorities, nine settlements in the Skovorodinsky, Madagachinsky, Svobodnensky and Blagoveshchensky districts remain without car communication. Nine villages were left without light. Boat crossings are organized in four villages.

To provide assistance to the region, an operational group of specialists from the central office of the EMERCOM of Russia arrived at the scene. Before that, experts were eliminating the consequences of the floods in Transbaikalia.

Yesterday the head of the Amur region Vasily Orlov, together with the head of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, Igor Smirnov, flew over the Blagoveshchensky, Svobodnensky and Konstantinovsky districts. In Konstantinovsky, dozens of farm cows were cut off by water. Animals are evacuated by water transport.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the flood forecast remains negative.

- There is a very high wave. In this regard, a number of instructions were given, in some points we will deploy additional rescue teams, somewhere the emphasis needs to be placed on preventive evacuation, especially for people with limited mobility, children, women, '' Orlov said.

As of this morning, the Amur level has slightly decreased in the upper reaches. He fell 60-70 cm in the Skovorodinsky district. The flood ridge moves downstream. In the regional center - Blagoveshchensk - the peak of the flood is predicted on June 27.

Let us remind you that in mid-June it was announced that the residents of Kamchatka, who suffered from the flood, would be paid compensation for the lost property. Amounts vary from 10 to 50 thousand rubles. On June 8, an emergency regime was introduced in the region.
