“Today I signed a decree abolishing the mandatory use of gloves in transport, in shops and other public places”, - Sobyanin said on his personal blog. He titled the post: "Return to normal life".

However, mask mode is not canceled. Respiratory protection, according to the mayor of the capital, is "the most important barrier to the spread of the virus." The mask mode will be maintained until the number of new cases of coronavirus disease is reduced to minimum values.

At the same time, Sobyanin admitted that the situation with coronavirus in Moscow continues to improve. “Thanks to mass vaccinations and other preventive measures, the number of newly diagnosed cases of covid has decreased 2.2 times, the number of hospitalizations - 1.6 times compared with the peak values in the second half of June”, - he said.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,499,131 cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Moscow, 25,477 cases have died. In July, the number of new cases is gradually decreasing: if on July 4 more than 7.5 thousand were detected, then on July 29 - 3.4 thousand. The number of deaths is also decreasing, but not so rapidly.
